Francis Elizabeth Lattimore, a beloved matriarch and steadfast woman of faith, was born on March 29, 1932, in Washington, D.C., to the late Albert Harris and Viola Taylor Harris. On November 22, 2024, Francis peacefully transitioned at the age of 92, surrounded by the love of her family.

Francis lived a life marked by resilience, compassion, and dedication to her family and community. She was a beacon of wisdom and strength, whose legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.

She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted sons: Sammy Harris (Freda) of Greenville, J.C Lattimore Harris of Greenville, SC  and George Lattimore (Martha) of Greenville;SC  two daughters Martha Harris of Greenville, SC  and Gladys Harris  Watkins of Baltimore, MD She also leaves behind a sister,, Kim Harris of Washington, D.C.; two loving brothers, Kevin Harris and Byron Harris, both of Baltimore, MD ; and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever honor her memory.

A celebration of her life will be held at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 2:00pm.
