Ms. Evelyn Evans Meredith, age 71 of 209 Hedge Street, Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born in Greenville County, South Carolina on September 30, 1950 to the late John Fletcher Evans, and Sarah Inez Martin. She is survived by three children, Frederick (Melissa) Meredith of Simpsonville, SC, Tonji (John) Meredith of Spartanburg, SC, and Sonji Meredith of the home; one brother, Mr. James Evans of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Laura Evans of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Meghan Meredith, Briana Meredith, Khalil Meredith, Corsha Johnson, Cheyenne Meredith, Sequoyah Meredith, JoeVaughn Meredith, Quavil Meredith, Thomas Gowens, Marquila Gowens, Carey Gowens Sr., Dashia Gowens, Johnashia Waldrop, Johnyshawa Waldrop, John Jacob Waldrop, Quanisha Arnold, and Ashley Meredith grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Ms. Meredith will be held 3:00pm, Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Simpsonville United Methodist Church, 215 SE Main St, Simpsonville, SC.
