Mrs. Essie B. Cunningham Williams, age 86, of 308 Hooker Avenue, Laurens, died Monday, June 11, 2012 at her home.A daughter of the late Caleb Cunningham and Janie Watts Cunningham, she was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church, Waterloo and a loving wife, mother and homemaker.She is survived by her husband, Casper Williams of the home; three daughters, Barbara (Rev. Clarence) Simpson, Janet (George) Hunter of Gray Court, Dorothy Williams of Laurens ; two brothers, Otis (Niecie) Cunningham of Waterloo, Ulysses (Cora) Cunningham of Laurens; two sisters, Evelyn C. Barksdale, Nellie C. Bryson of Laurens; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Funeral arrangements service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Good Hope Baptist Church, with Rev. Guy Sullivan officiating.Burial will be in the Westview Memorial Park.The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
