Mr. Earnest Johnson, age 72, passed away on at his residence of 509 Hunters Court, Laurens, South Carolina. He is survived by two sons, Tony Hunter, Ernest Graham (Dr. Lashay) Barksdale; one daughter, Candace Barksdale; one granddaughter, Lily Barksdale; and three brothers, Bobby Joe Johnson, James H. (Renee) Johnson, Willie L. Johnson.

Funeral services for Mr. Earnest Johnson will be held 2 p.m., Monday, December 22,2025 at the St. Paul 1st Baptist Church in Laurens, with Reverend Sammie Stroud officiating.  Burial will follow in the Calvary Memorial Gardens, with Full Fireman Honors.

The family are receiving friends at 307 Walnut Crest Court, Fountain Inn, S.C., and 308 Stuart Street, Laurens, South Carolina.
