Mr. Earnest G. Geter, Sr., age 89, of 512 Hellams Street, Fountain Inn, SC, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home. Born in Laurens County, SC, he was a son of the late Marcus Geter and Rosa Lee Sullivan Geter. He is survived by his wife, Rosie B. Geter; three daughters, Patricia Harris, Peggy Mosley and Jeanette Jackson; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren. The family is at the home.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Center Rabun Baptist Church, with Rev. Albert Blandin officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
