Mr. Doc Jr. Young entered eternal rest on Monday, July 13, 2026. He was born on December 31, 1956, to the late James Glenn Burts and Janie Young.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory two sons, Anthony Abercrombie and Edward Jackson (Melonie); one daughter, Michelle McCarroll Bond (Daiquiri); two brothers, the Reverend Willie J. Choice (Hennie) and Don Young; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel.
