Mrs. Delphine Margaret Erkens, age 72, of 9 Riverwood Court Greenville, South Carolina, a loving mother of eight and wife of Victor Erkens, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Heartland Health Care Center West. Born in Sartell, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Lahr. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Susan OBrien (Christopher) of Texas, Amy Johns (Kevin) of Indiana; six sons, Brian Erkens (Suzanne) of Greenville, Tom Erkens (Kris) of Travelers Rest, Randy Erkens (Audra) of Greer, Mike Erkens (Michelle) of Greenville, Steven Erkens (Charity) of China Eric Erkens of Texas; nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral servicewill be held 2p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Trinity Way Baptist Church with Reverend Dennis Holtzclaw officiating. Visitation 1-2pm prior to the service.
