Deacon Jerry Earl, 77, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at his residence.

Born on July 17, 1949, he was the son of the late John Bradford Earl and Grace Cook Earl. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty J. Hawthorne Earl, and his brother James Earl

One son, Michael (Tykera) Earl of Greenville, South Carolina; three daughters, Lawanda (Anthony) Tate of Pelzer, South Carolina, Pamela (Antonio) Green of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Jennifer (Emanuel) Duncan of Greenville, South Carolina; three brothers, David (Mary) Earl of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Thomas Earl of Greenville, South Carolina, and John Earl of Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Lenora (Calvin) Turner of Camden, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and devoted friends.
