Mr. David Vernon Johnson, age 71, of 3125 Highway 418 Fountain Inn, South Carolina died, Sunday, November 24, 2019. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Minnie Johnson and Pearlie Mae Boyd Johnson and the husband of the late Carmel Johnson. He is survived by three daughters, Shunda (Trey) Hunt of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Keisha Johnson of Greenville, South Carolina and Rolunda Henderson of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; one brother, Erskine (Shelby) Johnson of Simpsonville, South Carolina; four sisters, Eldon (John) Thomas of Baltimore, Maryland and Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Pearlie Gray and Brenda Downs both of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Laura (Jimmy) Young of Piedmont, South Carolina and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, November 30, 2019 at New Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home.
