Danny Charles Akins age, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina was born on the 31st day of March 1962, in Columbia, South Carolina, a son of the late Glover Walter Akins and Rather Louise Smith Akins. He was educated in the public schools of Greenville County and attended Mountain View Baptist Church. He passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Upon this earth, he leaves to cherish many warm memories are his two siblings, Walter Lane (Melva) Akins and Cathy Louise Akins. Danny was cherished and loved by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Home Going Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel with Reverend Stacey D. Mills, pastor of Mountain View Baptist Church. Burial will be private.
