Ms. Corine Pressley Gilliam, better known as "Sapphire" age 74, of Piedmont Avenue, Oakdale Acres Community, Clinton, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She is survived by two daughters, Roxanne "Randy"Pitts, Melody Gilliam, four grandchildren; four brothers, John B. "Gloria" Pressley, James "Karen" Pressley, Andrew Pressley, Michael "Patricia" Pressley; four sisters, Georgia Mae Cunningham, Annie Lucille"Robert" Anderson, Christine Fortson, and Jacqueline "Timothy" Williams.

Funeral services for Ms. Corine Pressley Gilliam, better known as "Sapphire" will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cross Hill, South Carolina, with Pastor Tony Cunningham officiating, and Pastor Mona Cunningham presiding, burial will follow in church cemetery. The visitation and Order Eastern Star Rites will be held at 6pm on Friday. Public viewing will be from 1–7. The family is at the home of her sister Mrs Jacqueline and Timothy Williams 203 Essex Drive, Clinton, South Carolina.
