Mrs. Cora Lee Newton, age 89, of 106 Otis St., Greenville, SC, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Heartland Health Care Center West. Born in McCormick County, South Carolina a daughter of the late Warren Martin and the late Ella B. Williams and the wife of the late Leroy Alphonso Newton. She was a seamstress and former employee of Stone Manufacturing Company. She is survived by one son, Dennis Larry Willis of Piedmont, SC; two daughters, Shirley Moss and Cora Smith both of Greenville, SC; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held, 1pm Monday, July 27, 2015 at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel with Rev. Elaine Pinson Williams officiating. Burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at home and 25 Pine Valley Rd., Piedmont, SC the home of her son. Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
