Mrs. Claudia M. Corley, age 91, of Easley, South Carolina formerly Orangeburg, South Carolina, quietly departed this earthly tabernacle on Friday, June 7, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Cameron, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Henry Bradley and Sophie Houser Bradley. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Orangeburg, South Carolina supporting its various auxiliaries with her time and talents. Life would require her to move with her daughter to the city of Easley, South Carolina where she began attending Rocky Mount Baptist Church where she served the Lord with gladness following her strong biblical teachings until her health began to restrict her mobility.
She is survived by two sons, Henry Arthur Corley of White Settlement, Texas, and Michael Williams of Waldorf, Maryland; three daughters, Dr. Pernice C. (Leroy E.) Adams of Easley, South Carolina, Delores Frazier of Bowie, Maryland, and Sandra Washington of Orangeburg, South Carolina; siblings, Lieutenant Colonel Leon (Deborah) Bradley of Atlanta, Georgia, and Marguerite Brown of McDonough, Georgia and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Public Viewing on Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 10-6pm. She will lie instate one hour before the hour of services.
A Celebration of a Life Well Lived will be at 2 pm, Monday, June 17, 2024, at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Greenville, South Carolina. On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at noon Home Going Services will be held at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Interment will immediately follow in Belleville Memorial Garden.
