Mrs. Clara Pearl Cunningham Blakely, age 87, of 94 Mill Ham Drive, Laurens, SC, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Columbia, SC. Born in Laurens County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Simon Cunningham and Roxie Miller Cunningham. She is survived by two sons, David (Stacey) Blakely of Marietta, GA and Willie James (Gloria) Cleveland of Bellflower, CA; one daughter, Lendy (Heyward) Blakely-Hinton of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Miller (Ada) Cunningham of Spartanburg, SC and John B. (Rebecca) Cunningham of Laurens, SC; one sister, Sarah C. Beasley of Fountain Inn, SC; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will be Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Friday September 9, 2022 at the Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Laurens, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family  respectfully request that donations be made to any animal shelter organization or feed the children organization.
