Mr. Chester Lee Martin, age 78, of 2 Manning Street Greenville, South Carolina died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at St. Francis Downtown Hospital. Born in Anderson County, South Carolina a son of the late Samuel L. Martin and Amanda Hallums Martin. He was educated in the public schools of Greenville County, graduating a member of Sterling High School class of 1960. He was a painter with the Long Body Service and retired after many years of dedicated service. He is survived by three daughters, Angela (Ronnie) Hawthorne of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Sonja Martin of Huntersville, North Carolina and Sabrina (William Jr.) McKinney of Greenville, South Carolina; one step-son, James Vincent(Wendy) Logan of Simpsonville, South Carolina; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 9am-6pm in the chapel of Beasley Funeral Home Greenville.
