Mr. Charles Smith, age 86, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late James Smith and Ruth Cheatham Smith and husband of Corine Smith. He is survived by his devoted wife Corine Smith of the home; two sons, Shayne Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina and Michael Hudgens of Greenville, South Carolina; one daughter, Michelle (Ricky) Sabb of Simpsonville, South Carolina; two brothers, James (Teretha) Smith of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Eddie (Ann) Smith of Laurens, South Carolina; four sisters, Margaret (Gene) Miller of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Patricia (Matthew) Milam of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Lois Anderson of Greenville, South Carolina and Wilma (Claude) Lee of Mauldin, South Carolina; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Public viewing will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 10am-6pm

Funeral services will be held 3p.m., Friday, November 11, 2022 at Old Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following the service.
