Obituary

Mr. Charles L. Gray, age 70, of Piedmont, South Carolina departed this earthly tabernacle in the early morning hour of Monday, December 26, 2022 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was born June 27, 1952 in Greenville County, South Carolina a son of the late Robert Gray and Katherine Gary Gray and the husband of Virginia Brockman Gray.

He was educated in the public schools of Greenville County graduating from J. E. Beck High School class of 1970, and a retired employee of Solvay Manufacturing formerly Cytec.

In addition, to his devoted wife Virginia B. Gray, he is survived by, two sons, Tarico L. (Debra) Brockman of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Charvis K. (Andrea) Gray of Greenville, South Carolina; three brothers, Robert Gray of Taylors, South Carolina, Jimmy (Belinda) Gray and Keith Gray both of Greenville, South Carolina; three sisters, Elayne Gray of Greenville, South Carolina, Patricia (Theo) Barmore of Lithonia, Georgia and Lisa (Randy) Mann of Columbia, South Carolina; five grandchildren.

Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Mr. Charles Leroy Gray will be 1pm Friday, December 30, 2022 at Rock of Ages Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Edward Brantley officiating. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The public viewing will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 10:00a.m.-7:00p.m.
