Mrs. Carrie Lou Spurgeon, 83 of 123 Friendly Street, Fountain Inn, South Carolina died on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. She is survived by two sons, Tony Webb of Piedmont, South Carolina and Willie James Williams of Greenville, South Carolina; three daughters, Alice (J.D.) Richardson, Mary Houston both of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and Katrina Spurgeon of Mauldin, South Carolina; two sisters, Annie Mae Garrett of Raleigh, North Carolina and Pearlie (Frank) Dora of Gray Court, South Carolina; one brother in-law, Charles Spurgeon of Greenville, South Carolina; five sister in-laws, Sadie Boyd , Jo Ann McDaniel both of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Catherine Boyd, Margaret Evans both of Greenville, South Carolina and Betty James of Gray Court, South Carolina; forty plus grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Simpsonville. Burial will be in Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.
