Mr. Carlos Lamont Shaw, age 59, of 6214 Grove Park Blvd., Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

He was born October 23, 1964 in Syracuse, New York to Mrs. Sandra R. Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina and the late Mr. Oscar Lee Shaw.

He is survived by in addition to his mother is his wife, Aida Cornick Shaw of the home; one son, Carlos (Mary) Shaw Jr. of Syracuse, New York; one daughter, Sirra (Jeffery) Golden of Syracuse, New York; two step sons, Luis Rivera of New York, New York and Anthony Rivera of Charlotte, North Carolina; one step daughter, Christina Rivera of New York, New York; one brother, Oscar Lee Kevin Shaw of New York, New York; one sister, Regina Dee Shaw of Charlotte, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Riley Shaw and Everly Golden both of Syracuse, New York; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Center Rabun Baptist Church, Gray Court, South Carolina. Reverend Terry Brown officiating.

Public viewing will be held 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2024 at Beasley Funeral Home of Fountain Inn.

The Family is at the home.

The Shaw family will receive family and friends locally at the home of Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Linda Thomas of 9796 Hwy. 101 South, Gray Court, South Carolina 29645.
