Brenda Jean Hairston, born on February 4, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was the beloved daughter of the late Douglas Graves and Barbara Taylor Graves. On July 12, 2025, Brenda peacefully transitioned from this life.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Courtney Hairston; her devoted son, David Hairston; one sister, Shirley Carter; and two brothers, Ronald Graves and Dwight Graves. She will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering strength, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at ValleyBrook Outreach Baptist Church.
