Mr. Billy Joe Grayson, age 80, of 100 Shadecrest Drive, Mauldin, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home. Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Edward L. Grayson and Marie Hagood Grayson, he was a veteran of US Army serving two tours of duty. He is survived by his wife, Blanche K. Cruell Grayson and two grandchildren, Rashun Grayson of the home and Chantoris Irby of Greenville. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Travelers Rest, with Rev. J. E. Young officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Memorial Park. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
