Mrs. Beulah Mae McDowell, age 100, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her residence. Born in Laurens, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Willie Frank Boyd and Willie Mae Cleveland Boyd. She is survived by two sons, Leonard (Mary) McDowell and Michael McDowell both of Greenville, South Carolina; four daughters, Sadie Chapman of Mauldin, South Carolina, Brenda McDowell of Greenville, South Carolina, Sandra Copeland of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Dorothy (John) Wallace of Mauldin, South Carolina; one brother, William Billy Boyd of Laurens, South Carolina; one sister, Charlotte Thomas of Grand Rapid, Michigan; three granddaughters reared in the home, Tomeka (DeBario) Payton of Simpsonville, Thalencia McDowell and Leticia Garrett both of Greenville, South Carolina ; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren. Celebration of Life services will be held 2p.m., Friday June 24, 2022 at Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Public viewing will be 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m., Thursday at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
