Mrs. Betty Sweeney Sullivan, age 79, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2026. She was a woman of strength, grace, and enduring love whose life touched many across generations.

Mrs. Sullivan was united in holy matrimony to her beloved husband, Mr. James Sullivan, who cherishes her memory.

She was born into the Sweeney family and was preceded in death by her siblings: Alice Boddie, Paul Sweeney, Kenneth Sweeney, Krystal Sweeney, and her beloved son, Timothy Sullivan.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband, James Sullivan; her children:

Vonda Walker (preceded in death by Paul Walker), Melissa Sweeney, Shannon (Lisa) Streeter (Marquese Streeter), Devangela Sullivan, and Greg Sullivan (Angela Sullivan).

She is also survived by her brother, Lanzo Bruce Sweeney (Cassandra Elrita Sweeney "Rita"), along with a legacy of love through her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply.

Mrs. Sullivan's life was a testament to faith, family, and resilience. Her presence brought warmth, wisdom, and stability to those around her, and her legacy will continue to live on through the lives she nurtured and the love she freely gave.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday from 10 am to 6 pm at Beasley Funeral Home-Greenville.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1 pm at Rocky Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Simpsonville, South Carolina
