Mrs. Betty Brummell Cunningham, age 90, formerly of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born in Lexington, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Clarence Brummell and Lena Mae Pinkston Brummell and the wife of the late Odell Cunningham. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and supported its various ministries and a retired educator with the Greenville County School System. She is survived by one son, Ivan Odell Cunningham of Mauldin, South Carolina; one daughter, Malena Cunningham (Carl) Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Ann (Gerald) Holloway. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Celebration of Life and Legacy Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Springfield Baptist Church 600 E. McBee Avenue Greenville, South Carolina.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Omega Service will be held at 6:30 pm, Friday, April 19, 2024, in the Greenville Chapel of Beasley Funeral Home.

Public viewing will be on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 10:00 am -7 pm at the funeral home.

The final resting place will be in Calvary Memorial Gardens, Pridmore Street Laurens, South Carolina
