Ms. Bettie Locke Smith, age 78, of 904 Spring Glen Drive, Simpsonville, passed away Monday, December 22. 2025.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Coker Locke and Ellen Thompson and wife of the late James D. Smith.  She is survived by one son, Kevin T. Smith; one daughter, Tangenieka B. Smith and seven sisters, Missouri Smith, Bobbie Thompson, Genevie Redding, Teresa Locke, Josephine Locke, Willa E. Collins and Deborah Miller.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.

The family is at the home and receiving friends starting Friday, December 26, 2025 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
