Ms. Bertha Mae Whitmore, age 89, of 1532 HWY 127, Laurens, SC passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Linda Beatrice Whitmore-Kelly and Patricia Whitmore-Boyd both of Laurens, SC; two granddaughters, Shaundi Patrice Smart of Laurens, SC and Zonyetta Arquette Whitmore of Inman, SC; two nieces, Georgia Neely Crawley of Piedmont, SC and Barbara (Wister) Neely- Jones of Laurens, SC; one great niece, Heather Lynn Crawley of Piedmont, SC; one great nephew, Ivan (Kesha)Bradley Jones of Greenville, SC; one great-great niece, Zaria Imani Jones of Greenville, SC; two special cousins, James Earl Boyd of Pelzer, SC and Delmar Richardson of Laurens, SC; one daughter-in-law, Daliah Donalds Whitmore of Inman, SC and a host of other beloved relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services for Ms. Bertha Mae Whitmore will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Poplar Springs AME Church in Laurens, South Carolina, with Dr. Roland Sigman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Memorial Gardens, Laurens, S.C. The family will be receiving visitors at the home of 1532 HWY 127 Bypass, Laurens, South Carolina.
