Mr. Bennie Stroughton, Jr., age 51, of 100 Houser Circle, Apt. 2-G, Clinton, SC, died Monday, February 9, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC. Born in Laurens, SC, he was a son of Ethel Smith Robinson and the late Bennie Stroughton, Sr. and husband of Dianne Boyd Stroughton. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Stroughton of the home; three sons, Sergio (Ashley) McDowell and Bennie Stroughton, III of Laurens and Luther Smith of Clinton, SC; four daughters, Stephanie Smith of the home, Kevonda McDowell of Laurens, SC, Keonna Thomas of Gray Court, SC, Crystal (Jimi) Goodwin of Mauldin, SC; his mother, Ethel Robinson of Laurens, SC; one brother, Levester (Patricia) Hill of Laurens, SC and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens. The family is at the home.
