Mr. Bennie Lee Campbell, Sr., age 87, of 819 Hellams Street, Fountain Inn, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at his home. Born in Laurens County, he was son of the late Whit Campbell and Lizzie Johnson Campbell. He is survived by his long-time companion, Betty Joe Bailey; nine children, Debbie Campbell, Bennie Campbell, Jr., Gwen Campbell, Phedra (Artis) Johnson, David Huff, Michael (Mary) Sullivan, Johnnie Mae (Jimmy) Beagle, Barbara Oxner and Lisa Sullivan; a special nephew, John Clinkscales; and a host of grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025 at the C. D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Laurens. Burial will follow in the New Hope AME Church Cemetery, Mountville, SC.

Public Viewing will be Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn.
