Mrs. Barbara Jean Tolen, age 76 of 128 West Cliff Drive of Laurens, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her home. She is survived by one son, Travis R. Tolen of Simpsonville; three daughters, Carolyn (Grady) Rhome and Doris (Jerome) Foggie of Simpsonville and Barbara L. Tolen of Laurens; two sisters, Patricia Watts and Carolyn Bluford;; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Service for Mrs.Tolen will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2pm at the New Beginning Baptist Church in Clinton with Reverend David Kennedy officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Calvary Memorial Gardens, Laurens. The family will be at the home of her daughter Carolyn (Grady) Rhome 8 Grotto Place, Simpsonville, SC.
