Mr. Anthony Leon Scott, age 68, of Greer, South Carolina, departed this earth.ly tabernacle on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina a son of Kissie Washington Scott and the late Lewis Scott. He was educated in the public schools of Richland County and graduated from Lower Richland High School in Hopkins, South Carolina class of 1975. Furthering his education upon graduation, he attended Virginia Union University and pledged Omega Psi Phi. It was later as a young man that he relocated to the upstate and started a career in automotive sales, gaining employment with Dick Brooks Honda of Greer, South Carolina.

He is survived by his dedicated and loving companion, Daisy Foster of the home; his mother Kizzie M. Jacobs, of Columbia, South Carolina; a bonus daughter, LaTarsha Durrah of Spartanburg, South Carolina; three sons, Sundiata Rayvon Scott, and Rashard Scott both of Richmond, Virginia, and Trenton Scott of Spartanburg, South Carolina; five brothers, Melvin (Judy) Scott, Andrew Scott, Christopher (Brenda) Scott, Eric Jacobs, and Stacy (Denise) Jacobs, all of Columbia, South Carolina.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, November 15, 2024, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church-Greer with Pastor Steve Watson officiating.

Public viewing will be on Thursday in the chapel of Beasley Funeral Home Greenville from 2 -7 pm.

The burial will be at 1 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, South Carolina.

The local services were entrusted in the care of Beasley Funeral Home Greenville
