Mrs. Annie Ruth Cathey, age 86, of Charlotte, NC, passe away Friday, September 26, 2025 in Huntersville, North Carolina.  Born in Cross Hill, SC, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Wade and Willie Mae Boyd.  She is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Tyrone) Cathey Kind; two sisters, Mildred (Willie) Shaw and Hattie Bell Leake; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Golden View Baptist Church, with Reverend Jeffery Williams officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of a sister, Mildred and Willie Shaw, 13 Wheeler Drive, Greenville, SC.
