Mr. Alton Gatewood, 69, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026. Born on April 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Luther Owens and Alma Wilson.

Mr. Gatewood is survived by four brothers: David Gatewood, James Eddie Gatewood, Leonard Harrison(Dorothy), and Franklin Gatewood; and one sister, Patricia Kirksey.  Special Nephew Rev. Wayne Owens. He will be remembered with love and gratitude by his family and all who knew him.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Beasley Funeral Home in Greenville.

Funeral services and the Celebration of Life for Mr. Alton Gatewood will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 2 p.m.in the chapel of Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville.
