Mrs. Alice T. Boyd, age 91, of 213 Morton Avenue, Simpsonville, SC, passed away, Sunday, January 29, 2023 at McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville, SC. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Reverend Roy Thomason and Molly Johnson Thomason, as well as, her stepmother, Sunnie Thomason. She is survived by her husband, James Boyd; two adopted children reared in the home, Carolyn Bates Makins and her name-sake, Alice James Thomason; four brothers, Frank Daniel (Sandra) Thomason, Maxel Lewis (Robin) Thomason, Joe Stanley (Betty) Thomason and Isaiah Thomason; three sisters, Anna Wright, Tecora Boyd and Sunnie Mae (Luther) Joiner; two sisters-in-law, Martha Thomason and Louise Boyd; two brothers-in-law, Robert Lee Boyd and William Boyd and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2023 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens, Piedmont, SC
