Mrs. Alice Marie Boyce, age 69, of 482 East Jerry Road, Laurens, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Laurens County Hospital, Clinton. Born in Laurens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Mattie Mae Brown Mason and James Mason. She is survived by her husband, Reverend George Edward Boyce of the home; two sons, Minister Dwayne Fitzgerald (Beverly) Boyce of Greenville and Dr. Tony (Schevelle) Boyce of Piedmont; one daughter, Reverend Kesha (Zachery) Boyce-Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, James Mason of Laurens; one sister, Edith (Lawrence) Burwell of Columbia, SC and seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with Dr. Jefferson McDowell and Dr. Tony Boyce officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Memorial Park. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
