Mr. Aaron Woods Sr., age, 62, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Natchez, Mississippi, a son of Rachel Woods. He answered the call of his country and served the United States Air Force for more than twenty years of service receiving an honorable discharge. He was a faithful and resolute member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he was a member of the Deacon Ministry.

A leader and a pillar of his community with a smile that infected everyone he encountered. A devoted husband, loving father, and indulging grandfather are a few characteristics of this giant of a man. He is survived by his devoted wife, Frieda Rounds Woods of the home; two sons, Aaron Woods Jr., of Japan and Austen L. Woods of Nashville, Tennessee; his mother, Rachel Woods of Natchez, Mississippi and three grandchildren.

A celebration of life services will be held in Natchez, Mississippi with interment and military rites in the Natchez National Cemetery.
