Mrs. Virginia Suber, age 68, of 3-D Glen Apartments, Laurens, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at her home. Born in Laurens, SC, she was a daughter of the late George Taylor Sr. and Dorothy Posey Taylor and wife of the late Oscar Suber. She was a graduate of Sanders High School, a member of Evening Light Church of God where she was President of the Usher ministry, President of the Missionary Ministry , Superintendent of Sunday School, a member of Sunshine Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, The Newberry Women"�s Aide Society, The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and the National Council of Negro Women, member of the NAACP, and a school bus driver for the District 55 School System. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the C. D. Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens, with Rev. Isaac Cropp officiating. Burial will be in the Jersey Cemetery. The family is at the home of a cousin, Annie Mary (Cookie) Philson and T. J. Philson, 21224 Highway 76 East, Laurens, SC.
