Mr. Theodore Hill, age 85, formerly of Simpsonville, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Diamond Health and Rehab Center, Simpsonville. The first born child of Roosevelt and Janie Cook Hill, he was a member of the St. John Baptist Church and a retiree from Ashworth Brothers. He is survived by four daughters, Louise Hill and Sandra Phillips of Atlanta, GA, Corrine (Danny) Thomas of Richmond, VA, Jennifer, (Earlie) Mitchell of Cincinnati, OH; one son, Odell (Vanessa) Hill of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Mary (Melvin) Jones of Los Angeles, CA, Lucille (Fred) Williams of New Haven, CT, and Carrie (Joseph) Harper of Petersburg, VA; three brothers, Roosevelt (Betty) Hill of Simpsonville, SC, Jimmy (Carolyn) Hill of Atlanta, GA, and Joe (Mattie) Hill of Fountain Inn, SC and eight grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the St. John Baptist Church, with Rev. Willie B. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of a brother, Mr. Joe Hill, 2479 Scuffletown Road, Fountain Inn, SC. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
