Mrs. Riley Young, age 69, of 158 Valley Brook Road, Piedmont, died August 1, 2016 at the St. Francis Hospital, Downtown, Greenville. Born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late Casper Otis Tellington and Lizzie Lee Johnson Tellington and wife of the late Johnny Young, she was a former employee of Kemet Electronics. She is survived by two sons, James c. Young and Stanley P. (Debbie) Ladson of Greenville; one daughter, Chretta Renee (Marshall) Young Mayes; one sister, Harnitha Tellington (Paul) Jenkins of Piedmont; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, August 8,2016 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Robinette Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Lowndes Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
