Miss. Lois Althea Coleman, better known as Kool Aide, age 62,of 518 Green Street, Laurens, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Laurens County Hospital, Clinton, SC. A daughter of John Calhoun and the late Frances Mae Coleman Calhoun, she was a member of the White Plains Baptist Church and a former employee of the Laurens County School District. In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, Keenan Coleman of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Leon (Anna) Coleman and Henry V. Irby of Laurens, SC; three sisters, Mamie (Willie) Wells of Columbus, GA, Jacquelyn Calhoun and Susan (Raymond) Ware of Laurens, SC. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the White Plains Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
