Mrs. Lillie Pearl Anty, age 72, of 68 Carousel Road, Gray Court, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late John Irvin Martin and Jannie Simpson Martin, she was a former employee of Wal-Mart Distribution Center. She is survived by one daughter, Jannie Smith of Gray Court; three brothers, Benny Martin of Ware Shoals, Leroy Martin of Laurens and Michael Martin of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Betty Tate of Ware Shoals and Judy Gartrell of Greenville; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Dunn Creek Baptist Church with Rev. James F. Davis, III officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
