Mr. John Hackett Fox, age 89, of 38 Tamwood Circle, Simpsonville, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Caldwell County, North Carolina, a son of the late Johnny Fox and Della Hackett Fox, he was a former employee of Cryovac and a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty B. Fox of the home; three sons, Darnele Fox of MCKenzie, TX, Larry Fox of Baltimore, MD and Johnny Berry of Greenville; two daughters, Rita Chandler of Baltimore, MD and Renata Fox of Simpsonville; one brother, Raymond Fox of Lenoir, NC; one sister, Dorothy Sherman of Lenoir, NC and a host of grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Adrian McIlwain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn in charge of arrangements.
