Mrs. Janie Maude Stokes, age 64, of 703 Hellams Street, Fountain Inn, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital. A daughter of the late Luther Lee and Hattie Bell Beasley Lee and wife of Johnnie Stokes, she was a former employee of Wilson Sporting Goods and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Stokes of the home; one son, Jon Jon Stokes of Piedmont, SC; one daughter, Jovita Stokes of Fountain Inn, SC; one sister, Mary Ellen Cleveland of Stroudsburg, PA and three grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Dr. Phillip Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of a niece, Lillie Lee of 223 Speedway Drive, Fountain Inn. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
