Mr. James Thomas "Pete" Watts, age 88, of 1212 Fairview Drive, Simpsonville, died Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home, Anderson, SC. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Will Watts and Queen Putman Watts. He is survived by his wife, Datrice Watts of the home; two sons, Williams Lloyd of Simpsonville; and Ernest Lloyd of Laurens; two daughters, Bobbie Watts of Simpsonville and Patricia Ann Watts of Gray Court and one sister, Annie Bell Smith of Simpsonville. The family is at 222 Pleasant View Drive, Gray Court. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Bethel Grove AME Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
