Mr. James A. McDonald, of 768 Woodberry Drive, Laurens, S.C. passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home. He is survived by his wife Madolyn Henderson McDonald; three daughters, Rhonda (Johnny) Blackwell, Kamika (Nicholas) Williams, and Tachica Jeter; one son, Jermaine McDonald; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Jerrylee (Mable) McDonald, Jimmy McDonald, Robert (Sara) McDonald, Joseph (Elizbeth) McDonald, and Calvin (Nita) McDonald; and four sisters, Annie Lou (Thomas) McDonel, Rebecca McDonald, Joanne (June) Blakely, and Resa (Jerry) Trefz; tow sisters in -law Edith Henderson and Mattie McDonald; two brothers-in law, Melvin Henderson and Harvey (Barbara) Henderson. Funeral arrangements for Mr. James A. McDonald will be held 2 p.m., Friday at the C D Beasley Memorial Chapel of the Beasley Funeral, Laurens, S.C. with Apostle Cynthia Carter officiating. The Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of the arrangements. The family is at their respective homes. "The family is requesting that masks be worn during service."
