Mr. Freddie Stephon Griffin, age 53 of 217 Prince Caldwell Road, Woodruff, SC died. Born in Greenville, South Carolina a son of Alfred Thomason and Minnie Griffin Aikens. He was educated in the public schools of Greenville County and a self-employed sanitation worker. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Annie Foster Griffin of the home; four daughters, Annea Gray (Marvin) Williams of Greer, SC, Sherry Glenn (Marcellus) Chaplin of Newberry, SC, Ella J. Glenn and Crystal Glenn (Kelsey) Jeter both of Woodruff, SC; one brother, Tony Griffin of Simpsonville, SC; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Rock Hill #1 Baptist Church, with Rev. Willie J. Choice and Rev. J. W. Hester, Sr., officiating.
