Mrs. Frances Patricia Garrett Boston, age 86, of 208 Park Place, Laurens, South Carolina, died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the NHC of Laurens, Laurens, South Carolina. She was born a daughter of the late Elton Garrett and the late Mattie Neely Garrett, and the wife of the late Javan Boston, Sr., She was formerly employed as a machine operator with the 3M Company and a member of Bethel Hall Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Richard C. Garrett of Simpsonville, SC, Javan Boston, Jr., Granville, SC, Paul Boston of Simpsonville, SC and John Boston of Austin, TX; two daughters, Betty J. Fogle of Temple, MD and Mary E. Hunter of Mauldin, SC; one brother, Thomas W. Garrett, of Hickory Tavern, SC; two sisters, Ruby P. Garrett of Laurens, SC and Mary G. Thompson of Clinton, SC; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2013 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Thomas Dendy and Rev. Glen Grayson officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Hall Church Cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
