Mr. Eland Workman, age 72, of 172 Spring Street, Clinton, died Saturday, October 15, 2016. Born in Newberry, SC, a son of the late Gloria Hall and Robert Workman, he was a member of the New Grove Baptist Church, a retired professional truck driver, both commercially and private and a member of the Beasley Funeral Home, Inc. staff. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Irby Workman of the home; two sons, Eddie Campbell of Fountain Inn and Morrale (Stacy) McDonald of Korea; one daughter, LaGretta (Johnny) Goodwin of Lexington; one brother, John W. Workman of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Reverend Robbie Evans and Willie Bell (Jerry) Berry of Fountain Inn. Funeralservice will be held 3 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016 at the New Grove BaptistChurch, with Rev. NamonDawkins officiating. Burialwill be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
