Mrs. Dorothy Byrd Browning, age 64, of 120 Overcreek Road, Chesnee, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at her home. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Hughes and Courtney Browning of the home; a granddaughter, Harmoni Kennedy of the home; two sisters, Margaret Byrd of Gray Court and Felesia Byrd of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and one brother, James Ben (Rosemary) Byrd of Gray Court. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Duncan Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobby Cohen and Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Beasley Funeral Home, Laurens is in charge of arrangements.
