Mr. Curtis Freeman, age 55, of Roswell, Georgia died Thursday, March 17, 2016. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina a son of the late Eddie Freeman and the late Zola Mae Daniels Freeman. He was educated in the public schools of Greenwood County, SC, he relocated to Roswell, Georgia and began working at Roswell Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center as an Environmental Specialist. He is survived by two sons, Curtis D. Mayes of Greenville, SC and Demetrius T. Mayes; four sisters, Johnnie Mae Dean and Hazel Hunt both of Piedmont, SC, Mamie Morton and Helen Arnold both of Brooklyn, NY; six brothers, Durell Daniels Freeman of Brooklyn, NY, Roosevelt Freeman of New York, NY, Ernest Freeman of Atlanta, GA, Michael Freeman of Greenville, SC, Eddie Ervin Sr., and Carl Freeman both of Greenwood, SC; and three grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 3pm Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Charvis K. Gray officiating. Burial in Resthaven Memorial Garden. Beasley Funeral Home Greenville is in charge of arrangements. The family is at 629 Emily Lane, Apt-I Piedmont, SC the home of his sister, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Dean.
