Ms. Corine B. Wharton, age 96, of 112 Woodland Drive, Fountain Inn, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home. She was a daughter of the late Ben Boyd and Rachel Loudin Boyd and wife of the late Otis C. Wharton. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Bates of Fountain Inn; two granddaughters; one great-grandson and two great, great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Mt. Carmel AME Church, with Rev. Cornell Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home.
